Zhinvali Reservoir and the Ancient Ananuri Fortress
The journey begins with the turquoise waters of the Zhinvali Reservoir. We don’t just drive by — our guide will choose the best spots for "Instagrammable" shots without crowds of tourists. Then we will visit the Ananuri Fortress (16th century). You will hear legends about the courage of the Aragvi Eristavi (Dukes), which breathe life into these ancient walls, and you’ll be able to touch the history of the late Middle Ages.

The Magic of Two Rivers and the Birthplace of Khinkali
You will witness a rare natural phenomenon: the confluence of the Black and White Aragvi rivers, which flow in one riverbed without mixing. It is an ideal place for photos and reflecting on the power of nature.
And then comes the main gastronomic highlight: Pasanauri. It’s impossible to pass by the birthplace of khinkali. We will show you tried-and-tested spots where they are prepared according to old recipes with hand-chopped meat and aromatic broth. Enjoy the taste of authentic Georgia without any rush!

Above the Clouds: The Friendship of Peoples Monument
At an altitude of 2384 meters, on the Jvari (Cross) Pass, we will take a break at the Friendship Monument. This is a unique architectural structure with a panoramic observation deck offering a breathtaking view of the bottomless gorge. It’s the perfect time to breathe in the purest mountain air and enjoy a cup of hot tea.

Heart of the Mountains: Stepantsminda and Gergeti Temple
Our final destination is the legendary Gergeti Trinity Church (14th century) at the very foot of the giant Mount Kazbek. This is a place of power where clouds often float below you.

Important note about the ascent: The road directly to the temple is a steep mountain serpentine. For your safety and comfort, the ascent from the village of Stepantsminda is carried out in special off-road vehicles (4x4) with experienced local drivers. This service is not included in the tour price and is paid separately on-site, as we leave the choice to you: ascend by jeep or make a hike on foot.
