Jvari Temple, a monastery of the 6th century, located on the top of a mountain, allows you to see the beauty of nature and appreciate the architecture of the ancient builders. According to legend, this temple was built on the site of a cross, which was erected by St. Nino, an enlightener of Georgia. Here the two rivers Kura and Aragvi merge. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, erected in the XI century in honor of the 12 apostles of the Christian church. It is a symbol of the spirit of Georgian Orthodoxy, a place of baptism, burial of the Georgian kings. The cathedral was chosen as the place of baptism of the first Christian Georgian king Mirian, thanks to the legend of finding the Heaton Jesus Christ under the temple.

Samtavro Convent, is a whole complex of buildings, which in its architecture has preserved many significant Christian events in the history of Georgia. On the territory of the complex lie King Mirian and Queen Nana, the first to adopt Christianity in the status of head of state, and Elder Gabriel, who is revered as a saint, rests.
